Mandelic Acid Powder

Mandelic acid powder, also known as phenylglycolic acid, was first extracted from peach and willow leaves and has the same source as salicylic acid.

Mandelic acid is a lipophilic fruit acid with high affinity to the skin, strong penetration, and milder effect than glycolic acid. Because of its chemical structure similar to antibiotics, it can inhibit the proliferation of a variety of bacteria.

Alpha Hydroxy Acids (AHAs) is a general term for a series of carboxylic acids with a hydroxyl group at the α position, which can be extracted from various fruits, sugar cane, yogurt, and fruit wine, so it is commonly known as AHAs.

Mandelic acid at a concentration of 2.5% can kill 1 million Escherichia coli within 1 minute; 1 million Staphylococcus aureus can be killed within 4 minutes; within 0.5 minutes can kill 100,000 Staphylococcus epidermidis; can kill about 800 Candida albicans in 16min.
